Description
The Basenji is a unique breed known for its distinctive barkless “yodel.” Originally bred for hunting in Africa, they are clean and independent dogs. Their short, smooth coat requires minimal grooming. Despite their small size, they are energetic and require plenty of exercise. While they can be affectionate with their families, Basenjis often have a strong prey drive and may not be suitable for households with small animals.
